Over the past few years our small community has had several young girls participate in the Great Lakes Rodeo Queen & Court Competition. In fact last year (2008), we had at least 5 participants from Ontonagon County with our own Alexandria Dix taking the Queen honors. Ontonagon has been well represented in the past and this year will be no different. I know there is a large group of talented young girls participating in this year’s 2009 Great Lakes Rodeo Queen and Court Competition. Take your family to this year’s events and support your local girls.
